Silly Little Drinks Club Get it

Privacy

Last updated 28 October 2026

Silly Little Drinks Club does not collect anything about you. There is no account and no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. Your café, your drinks and your followers live on your own phone.

That is the whole policy, really. The rest of this page is the detail behind it, so you can check that it is true rather than take our word for it.

What the game keeps on your phone

Two things, both written to your phone's own app storage:

We cannot read any of it. It is not sent anywhere, it is not attached to a name or an identifier, and there is no copy of it on a server, because there is no server. Deleting the app deletes it, and there is no way for us to put it back.

If your phone backs its apps up to iCloud or to Google, that backup may include this file. That backup is Apple's or Google's, under their own privacy policies, not ours.

What leaves your phone

Three things, and this is the complete list.

1. Checking for updates

The game can update itself without waiting for a new store release. When it checks, it contacts an update service run by Expo (Expo, Inc., United States) at u.expo.dev on our behalf. That request carries your IP address and basic technical details — the platform, the OS version and which build of the game you are running — so the right update can be sent back. It carries nothing about your café or how you play. Expo's privacy policy is at expo.dev/privacy.

2. Sharing your Line-up

When you share your Line-up, the game draws the picture on your phone, saves it to your phone's temporary storage and hands it to your phone's own share sheet. You choose where it goes from there. It never passes through us, and once you send it, it is covered by the policy of whichever app you sent it to.

3. The app stores

Downloading the game, updating it and rating it all happen through Apple's App Store and Google Play. They give us aggregated figures — how many people installed the app, crash reports, and the reviews people choose to write. None of it identifies you to us. The rating prompt the game occasionally shows is your phone's own; we never see whether you used it or what you said.

No ads, no trackers, nothing to buy

This version of the game contains no advertising, no third-party tracking or analytics software, no in-app purchases and no payment code at all. Nothing in it is paid for, so nothing in it needs to know who you are. If that ever changes, this page will change before it does.

Children

The game is built to be suitable at any age. It collects no personal information from anybody, children included, it shows no advertising, and there is nothing in it that a child could spend money on.

Your rights

UK and EU data protection law gives you the right to see the personal data a company holds about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to show you or delete.

The one exception is if you email us. Then we have your email address and whatever you wrote, and we keep it only for as long as it takes to deal with what you wrote about. Ask us to delete it and we will.

If this page changes

The date at the top changes with it. If a change is a significant one — if the game starts doing something with your data that it does not do today — we will say so in the release notes rather than quietly editing this page.
